You got me excited by saying "java": I know that Base uses java, and I have a mystery with Base. But, I see that my system already has "OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.10.2) (6b22-1.10.2-0ubuntu1~11.04.1)". Thank you for the suggestion.
